Spring 2017

12th Annual Smoky Mountain Springfest is a countywide celebration of the season in the cities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & Sevierville featuring special events, local craft shows and much more. Gatlinburg will fill the city and line the streets with springtime blooms and Pigeon Forge offers special entertainment, outlet shopping sales & the Annual Dolly Parade!  March 15-June 2 2017.

Dollywood's Annual Festival of Nations with more than 250 international performers at this multicultural spring festival featuring musicians, dancers and artisans bringing a world of entertainment to the Great Smoky Mountains.  March 18-April 9, 2017

Smoky Mountain Winefest - Wineries from across Tennessee offer samples of their specialty wines and local chefs create tasty food pairings.  The event takes place at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and includes complementary demonstrations and seminars.  April 8, 2017

Annual Spring Wildflower Pilgrimage – Gather with other outdoor enthusiasts to celebrate the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  This popular springtime event offers more than 100 programs that including hiking, auto tours, demonstrations and classroom lectures all centered on enjoying flowers, plants and wildlife in the Smokies.  April 11-15, 2017.

Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show – End of March, 2014 you'll find unique, handcrafted gifts and products produced by members of Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community that are placed on display and offered for sale as they host their annual show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.  Demonstrations are part of the show.  April 12-15, 2017

Earth Week - Gatlinburg offers an entire week of family and environmentally-friendly events dedicated to the national Earth Day Celebration.  The week features fun and entertaining community activities to educate and encourage people to adopt green practices.  April 17-21, 2017

29th Annual Dolly's Homecoming Parade – Entertainer Dolly Parton leads this spring tradition across Pigeon Forge with marching bands, local entertainers, clubs and organizations.  Dolly Parade begins at 6 p.m. on the Pigeon Forge Parkway.  Early May, 2017

Gatlinburg Beans 'n Cornbread Festival - Bush Brothers & Company joins Gatlinburg in celebrating its Appalachian culinary past with a festive, fun-filled Beans n' Cornbread cook off, complete with foot-stompin' mountain music, fun and games, and, of course, lots of Beans and Cornbread.  The festival is in downtown Gatlinburg from 4-8 p.m.  Visitors can sample all the different recipes while supplies last.  May 11, 2017

Annual Bloomin' Barbeque & Bluegrass Festival is the largest event in Sevierville! Tennessee State Championship Barbeque Cook-Off, FREE bluegrass concerts from Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and The Del McCoury Band, kids games, great food and authentic mountain crafts. Admission is free.  May 19-20, 2017

Dollywood's BBQ & Bluegrass Festival - Enjoy the best bluegrass music by popular and local artists throughout the month with great southern cookin' including ribs, chicken and pork!  May 26-June 4, 2017

Summer 2017

Annual Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales Festival features Arts, Entertainment, and History throughout the city of Gatlinburg.  Dramatic entertainment, story telling, and music by local artists strolling the Parkway each evening beginning at 6 p.m.  Enjoy even more local art when staying at Ridgecrest Mountain Cabins in the Arts & Crafts Community.  June 9-July 29, 2017

Free Parkway Trolley – From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. all summer long you can hop on and off the special free shuttle as often as you'd like.  The City of Gatlinburg will offer free trolley service to patrons along the length of the Parkway for nine weeks this summer with extra stops established between traffic lights #1-#10 along Parkway.  June 17-August 4, 2017

Dollywood's Great American 'Summer Lives Here' Celebration – Plan for more summertime fun with family and friends at Dollywood with longer park hours, new shows, and a fireworks display every night.  Park is open each day until 10 p.m.  For a cabin with easy access to Dollywood, make your reservations with Autumn Ridge Rentals.  June 17-August 6, 2017

Annual 4th of July Independence Day Celebrations across the Smokies in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.  Gatlinburg presents the first July 4th parade in the nation at midnight, July 3.  Pigeon Forge kicks off their Patriot Festival at Patriot Park at 5 p.m. with free entertainment and fireworks display at dusk.  July 3-4, 2017

24th Annual Patriot Festival - Celebrate America's birthday free activities and entertainment at Patriot Park.  3rd Annual Veterans Parade kicks off the evening on the Pigeon Forge Parkway and ends at Patrio Park where there's plenty of food and refreshments available for purchase and free live entertainment.  Bring your chairs & blankets and enjoy the show!  July 4, 2017

Gatlinburg Summer Craftsmen's Fair – Visit more than 200 booths featuring some of the nation's finest arts and crafts at the Gatlinburg Convention Center daily 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  Live Country & Bluegrass entertainment too!  July 14-23, 2017

Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival - Celebrating the area's Appalachian musical roots, Gatlinburg hosts the Smoky Mountains Songwriters Festival featuring workshops and free music concerts at a variety of venues throughout Gatlinburg.  August 24-28, 2017

Robert Tino's Smoky Mountain Homecoming at the Robert Tino Gallery off Hwy 66, Smoky Mountain Homecoming unveils Robert Tino's latest mountain print and features authentic mountain craftsmen, roving storytellers, mountain music, and antique games for the kids. Admission is free.  October 6-8, 2017

Annual Bruce Street Brewfest - Historic Downtown Sevierville welcomes you to enjoy over 30 home and professional beer brewers, live music, great food, and good friends. The fun takes place from 1-6 p.m. and all proceeds to benefit local charities.  October 7, 2017

Annual Halloween Celebrations - Pigeon Forge Community Center hosts Halloween Fun from 6-9 p.m. with games, entertainment & "Trick or Treat" on October 26, 2017. On Halloween, Gatlinburg's Halloween Carnival takes place at Ripley's Plaza from 1-5 p.m. with downtown Trick or Treat following at 6 p.m.  Most local restaurants and outlet shopping malls also participate in handing out Halloween treats. 

Winter 2017

Annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest Celebration has become one of the south's most popular events! Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville each honor the coming of winter with fantastic kick-off events featuring entertainment, great food and twinkling lights. The fun continues through February with trolley light tours, special holiday theater performances, and spectacular sales events at all area outlet malls.  Kick-off Events:  Sevierville:  November 6  / Pigeon Forge: November 7  /  Gatlinburg: November 9.  November 6, 2017-February 28, 2018

Gatlinburg Winter Magic - Gatlinburg keeps the magic going through February with Christmas light displays, Trolley Ride of Lights and special wintertime events.  November 8-February 28, 2018

Dollywood Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival turns Dollywood Theme Park into a winter wonderland of more than 3.5 million holiday lights to set the stage for extraordinary holiday entertainment.  Make this a Christmas holiday to remember and vacation during one of the Great Smoky Mountains "warmest" seasons.  Ride the trolley from Gatlinburg to Dollywood!  November 4, 2017-January 1, 2018

Gatlinburg Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade – Beginning at 7:30 p.m., the Gatlinburg Christmas Parade is recognized as one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast. Bundle up and arrive early for lighted floats, marching bands, equestrian units and balloons. Parade begins at 7:30 p.m. December 1, 2017
