Spring 2012

Dollywood's Annual Festival of Nations with more than 250 international performers at this multicultural spring festival featuring musicians, dancers and artisans bringing a world of entertainment to the Great Smoky Mountains.  March 24 - April 30, 2012.

Great Smoky Easter Arts & Crafts Show – From April 4-7, 2012 you'll find unique, handcrafted gifts and products produced by members of Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community that are placed on display and offered for sale as they host their annual show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.  Demonstrations are part of the show.  Stay at Carr's Cottages in Gatlinburg and ride the trolley!

27th Annual Dolly's Homecoming Parade – Entertainer Dolly Parton leads this spring tradition across Pigeon Forge with marching bands, local entertainers, clubs and organizations.  May 11 at 6 p.m. on the Pigeon Forge Parkway.

7th Annual Bloomin' Barbeque & Bluegrass Festival is the largest event in Sevierville! Tennessee State Championship Barbeque Cook-Off, FREE bluegrass concerts from Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver and The Del McCoury Band, kids games, great food and authentic mountain crafts. Admission is free.  May 18-19, 2012.

Dollywood's BBQ & Bluegrass Festival moves to May 26 - June 10, 2012, and offers the best bluegrass music by popular and local artists throughout the month with great southern cookin' including ribs, chicken and pork!

10th Annual Smoky Mountain Springfest is a countywide celebration of the season in the cities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & Sevierville featuring special events, local craft shows and much more. Gatlinburg will fill the city and line the streets with springtime blooms and Pigeon Forge offers special entertainment, outlet shopping sales & the Annual Dolly Parade!  March 6 - June 3, 2012.

Summer 2012

6th Annual Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales Festival features Arts, Entertainment, and History throughout the city of Gatlinburg.  Dramatic entertainment, story telling, and music by local artists strolling the Parkway each evening June 15 - August 11, 2012.  Enjoy even more local art when staying at Hemlock Hills Cabin Rentals in the Arts & Crafts Community.

Dollywood Kidsfest is the 3rd Dollywood festival of year, focused on entertaining kids of all ages with special appearances by TV characters, kid friendly shows & attractions, and lots of imagination!  June 22 - July 29, 2012.

Annual 4th of July Independence Day Celebrations across the Smokies in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.  Gatlinburg presents the first July 4th parade in the nation at midnight, July 3.  Pigeon Forge kicks off their Patriot Festival at Patriot Park at 5 p.m. with free entertainment and fireworks display at dusk.  July 3-4, 2012.

22nd Annual Patriot Festival - Celebrate America's birthday free activities and entertainment at Patriot Park.  2nd Annual Veterans Parade kicks off the evening on the Pigeon Forge Parkway and ends at Patrio Park where there's plenty of food and refreshments available for purchase and free live entertainment.  Bring your chairs & blankets and enjoy the show!  July 4, 2012.

Annual Celebrate Freedom! Festival honors American veterans and current military personnel during a full month of discounts and savings at participating county businesses.   August, 2012.

Autumn 2012                      Why Do The Tree Leaves Change Color?

Annual Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival is a countywide celebration of harvest season including the cities of Gatlinburg, Sevierville & Pigeon Forge. See beautiful harvest displays, enjoy great entertainment and hayrides.  Stay at Hemlock Hills Gatlinburg Resort and visit the Arts & Crafts Community too!  September 13 - October 31, 2012.

15th Annual Taste of Autumn allows you to sample signature dishes from the area finest restaurants. Enjoy live entertainment, live auction with a cash bar.  For a $25 donation to the United Way of Sevier County, attendees can enjoy unlimited sampling from all the participating vendors, as well as live entertainment. 100% of the proceeds from the Taste of Autumn go to the United Way of Sevier County Campaign. Stay at Carr's Cottages, Crossroads Inn or Twin Islands!  Late September 13, 2012.

Dollywood's National Gospel & Harvest Celebration celebrates Autumn with four weeks of free Southern gospel concerts, visiting crafters, beautiful autumn décor & fantastic foods.  Ride the trolley to Dollywood!  October 3 - November 3, 2012.

Robert Tino's Smoky Mountain Homecoming at the Robert Tino Gallery off Hwy 66, Smoky Mountain Homecoming unveils Robert Tino's latest mountain print and features authentic mountain craftsmen, roving storytellers, mountain music, and antique games for the kids. Admission is free.  October 6-7, 2012.

11th Annual Safe Halloween Celebration at Pigeon Forge Community Center from 6-9 p.m.  Hosted by the city of Pigeon Forge Parks & Recreation department, your children can enjoy a hayride, games, cosmic bowling, movie, entertainment & "Trick or Treating."Most local restaurants and outlet shopping malls also participate in handing out Halloween treats.  October 29, 2012.

Winter 2012

Annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest Celebration has become one of the south's most popular events! Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville each honor the coming of winter with fantastic kick-off events featuring entertainment, great food and twinkling lights. The fun continues through February with trolley light tours, special holiday theater performances, and spectacular sales events at all area outlet malls.  Kick-off Events:  Sevierville - 6th / Gatlinburg - 7th / Pigeon Forge - 8th.  Reserve your stay for Gatlinburg Winter Magic at Hemlock Hills Gatlinburg Cabins, Best Western Crossroads Inn, or Best Western Twin Islands Hotel.  November, 2012 - February, 2013.

Annual Dollywood Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival turns Dollywood Theme Park into a winter wonderland of more than 3.5 million holiday lights to set the stage for extraordinary holiday entertainment.  Make this a Christmas holiday to remember and vacation during one of the Great Smoky Mountains "warmest" seasons.  Ride the trolley from Gatlinburg to Dollywood!  Through Mid-November - December 30, 2012.
